GUIDED 11 DAY TOUR FROM CASABLANCA

DAY 1: CASABLANCA EXPLORING THE CITY

The tour starts today and we will pick up you at the airport / hotel. We explore main sights in Casablanca. We stay overnight in local hotel.

DAY 2: CASABLANCA - RABAT - CHEFCHAHOUEN

Our Morocco tour from Casablanca starts driving to Rabat, which is the administrative capital of Morocco. Here in Rabat we will visit the splendid Mohammed V Mausoleum, the Hassan Tower and the kasbah des Oudayas. Late in the afternoon drive to Chefchaouen. We explore this colourful village at Rif mountains. Chefchaouen is one of the most spectacular cities in the North Morocco. We stay for dinner and overnight stay in local riad/hotel.

DAY 3: CHEFCHAHOUEN - VOLUBILIS - MEKNES - FES

Today we continue tour to Fes with a stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis. After lunch we departure to Meknes , which was founded at the end of the 17th Century by Moulay Ismail. A visit will include Bab Mansour, Hari Souani and the old Medina. We will then continue to Fes where we stay for dinner and overnight stay in local riad/hotel.

DAY 4: WALKING TOUR OF FES

Today you explore sightseeing of Fes. It is the oldest cultural and spiritual imperial city of Morocco. It was founded in 790 B.C by Moulay Idriss II. Guided Fes excursion includes visiting medina, the Medersa - an Islamic university, the El Qaraouiyyin Mosque and the sumptuous Nejjarine fountain. You will have free program to discover Fes by your own and we stay for dinner and overnight stay in Fes.

DAY 5: FES - AZOU - MIDELT - RISSANI - MERZOUGA DESERT

After breakfast, we drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains stopping in Azrou to watch Barbary apes. We continue to Midelt famous for its minerals and apples. We will pass through Ziz Valley to reach Erfoud and Rissani. We arrive to Merzouga afternoon and we enjoy stay in Comfortable Sahara desert accommodation in Merzouga with dinner.

DAY 6: MERZOUGA CAMEL TREKKING AND NIGH IN CAMP

Today we explore Merzouga Sahara desert in 4x4 tour. We will visit the Khamlia village where we meet and listen to local Gnawa people , musicians and we will learn about their traditional music. We visit and have some tea with local Nomad families living in the Merzouga desert. We will drive in desert dunes to explore large desert of Erg Chebbi. We also visit city of Rissani which is a fortified village and we explore traditional souk. We enjoy camel ride in desert in Merzouga with local Merzouga camel guide to explore sand dunes in Morocco. We reach Merzouga desert camp where we will have Berber dinner ,we enjoy Berber music and we stay this night in desert tents in Merzouga.

DAY 7: MERZOUGA DESERT - TODGHA GORGES - DADES GORGE

We enjoy sunrise in desert of Merzouga and then we ride camels back to the village of Merzouga and after breakfast we leave for Rissani. We drive towards Tinghir, and then we explore Todgha Gorges which is the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. Here we may hike within the amazing valley and after lunch we will continue our private Morocco tour passing the Dades Valley. Here we stay in Dades Gorge in traditional local riad/hotel with dinner and breakfast.

DAY 8: DADES GORGE - AIT BENHADDOU - MARRAKECH

We continue our Morocco private tour through the Dades Valley towards Ouarzazate passing the route of the 1000’s Kasbahs. We will stop at Kalaat Mgouna which is the centre of roses valley. Here we may purchase the rosewater, which is local famous product made from roses. We will visit Ouarzazate movie studio, and also local kasbah in the city. We continue to a the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou where we explore local kasbah. It is the largest kasbah in Morocco and UNESCO world heritage. Many famous movies were filmed here including Gladiator , The Mummy and Lawrence of Arabia. We drive through the Tizi ‘n’ tichka mountain pass over the High Atlas Mountains to reach Marrakech.

DAY 9: MARRAKECH GUIDED TOUR IN CITY

Today we explore best of Marrakech “the red city of Morocco”. We will visit most important sites of historical and cultural interest. It will include the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace. We will explore famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square and on the afternoon, we will have free program.

DAY 10 : DAY TRIP TO ESSAOUIRA AND BACK

Private day excursion from Marrakech to Essaouira on Atlantic coast. Essaouira is perfect destination for tourists. Located at Atlantic coast, we explore medina, beach area, with optional camel ride. Later we drive back to Marrakech.

DAY 11: MARRAKECH - CASABLANCA

On the last day of our private Morocco tour we explore Marrakech souk and then we drive you to the airport.
