PROGRAM FOR CAMEL RIDE IN MERZOUGA DESERT

This camel trekking our starts right in the desert where camels will be ready to take you to a camp located in the middle of the dunes where you will spend the night. You will watch a spectacular sunset from the high dunes, and after having a nice Moroccan dinner, you will enjoy a great campfire party with drums and Berber songs. At night you can also see hundreds of stars in the clear desert sky. In the morning you can get up early and watch a beautiful sunrise, walk over the sand dunes or do some sand-boarding. After breakfast you will be brought back to the hotel/riad where the tour ends.

2 NIGHTS IN MERZOUGA DESERT AND CAMEL TREKKING TO EXPLORE OASIS AND DUNES

PROGRAM FOR CAMEL RIDE IN MERZOUGA DESERT

Right after packing the camels with everything you need for an awesome experience in the desert, we head towards a beautiful oasis in the middle of the Erg Chebbi. In the first night of the tour, you will have a wonderful dinner and be able to see hundreds of stars twinkle in the clear desert sky. You will spend the night in nomad tents.

In the following morning, after breakfast we travel for an hour and stop for lunch in a settlement of desert nomads. After lunch we take a path that leads us to an amazing camp located in the middle of the dunes to spend the second night. At the camp you can spend hours of fun sandboarding. At night you will have a delicious dinner and enjoy a great campfire party with drums and Berber songs. The next day we take you back to the village after breakfast.

3 NIGHTS IN MERZOUGA DESERT AND CAMEL TREKKING , MEETING NOMADS

PROGRAM FOR CAMEL RIDE IN MERZOUGA DESERT

In the following morning, after breakfast we travel for an hour and stop for lunch in a settlement of desert nomads. After lunch we take a path that leads us to an amazing camp located in the middle of the dunes to spend the second night. At the camp you can spend hours of fun sandboarding. At night you will have a delicious dinner and enjoy a great campfire party with drums and Berber songs. You will spend your 3rd night with a Berber nomad family that lives in Erg Chebbi. There you have the opportunity to see the nomads’ way of life. The next day after breakfast we go back to the village or to the auberge.

*Note: each day will involve between 90 minutes to 2 hours of either riding a camel or walking along side one.
